Fun Day is for everyone!

Every two years the John F Kennedy School hosts Fun Day. The school’s biggest family event, this special day serves a number of purposes and has something for everyone.

Imagine the school campus being transformed over night into one big fair grounds – that’s what Fun Day is like (without the cattle!):

• Hundreds of children bustling from booth to booth checking out their skills at throwing, golfing, solving puzzles or sitting in the Fairy Tale corner listening raptly to the German Department’s spinner of tales
• Parents and teachers hawking their wares, or just enjoying a mango shake, a refreshing beer or a nice warming coffee while listening to music on the outdoor stage
• Strains and refrains coming from the Aula – the Music Department’s Coffee House with choirs, orchestras and bands performing throughout the whole day
• Dr. McDaniel’s stage crew running around frantically replacing blown fuses to make sure the Guidance Department’s and Student Council’s hot plates keep the chile and tacos warm
• And the Raffle! Mounds of prizes just waiting to jump into the hands of little (and big) winners.

It’s a day filled with excitement, pride, community, and – well – FUN!
